"65 Roses" tattoo concept for a friend who lives with Cystic Fibrosis. I created custom lettering based on his "SDP" monogram signature. "65 Roses" is how some children with Cystic Fibrosis pronounce their disease.
Original pencil sketches and explorations based on the client's "SDP" monogram signature.
Explorations of several different swirl combinations in Adobe Illustrator.
Although the client didn't use this design, I'm highlighting it because I feel that it's well-balanced and could possibly work as a logo for a Cystic Fibrosis organization or foundation simply called, "65 Roses."
The design that the client chose.
Final tattoo, placed on my friend's inner upper arm.
My friend's mom also got the tattoo. It's placed by her ankle.
