Yerba Buena Community Benefit District
:MINT collaborated with YBCBD again in 2021 to update their brand campaign. After a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses in the Yerba Buena neighborhood were opening up again and it was time for folks to come back.
For this campaign, I used modern art periods as inspiration to spark excitement about Yerba Buena and remind viewers of all the cool experiences this artful neighborhood has to offer. I used cubism to depict Dining, surrealism for Shopping, a cutout style inspired by Henri Matisse for Hospitality, and modernism (inspired by Andy Warhol) for Culture. I created original illustrations as well as a mix of stock art to make these pieces. The campaign was launched in 2022.
