As the first coffee roaster in the Pacifica, CA, Soul Grind Coffee Roasters offers quality in-house roasted coffee and fresh, organic meals in a relaxed environment. Inspired by local surf and skate culture, Soul Grind embodies the taste and style of its coastal region. 

I developed the logo design, branding, initial web design, and collateral for this seaside café. The three waves of the logo represent Pacifica's local surf culture, as well as the third wave of coffee, a movement to produce the highest quality artisanal coffee. The custom type is a slick and modern take on funky surf brands from the 1970s.
